Margarita Wilkinson

Washington, DC is broken. Out-of-touch politicians cave to special interest groups, party leaders, and even the woke movement to advance their own careers. Dysfunction is growing while American families are hurting.

My name is Margarita Wilkinson and I’m a conservative Republican, a local businesswoman, and a political outsider who has had enough, and that’s why I’m running for Congress.

I grew up in El Paso, Texas along the US-Mexico border. I remember as a child my family turning on the local television news and seeing how gang violence, crime, drugs, and trafficking were prevalent - and they still very much are today decades later - due to the lack of border security. This part of my childhood has shaped my views. It made me a Republican.

My mom instilled in me some core values - that an honest day's work will lead to opportunities and a better future. While in college, I began working at the local Univision affiliate, and I learned the business, worked long hours, and moved up the ranks from doing translations to sales to Sales Manager.

At the age of 32, I became the youngest General Manager in the company's history.

Today, I'm a Senior Vice President at Entravision Communications, a global media company.

In this position, God has blessed me with opportunities to do local civic work and to give back to my community. It's also where I learned to run a business - how to maintain a budget, create jobs, and hire hundreds of local residents.

But it's also where I experienced firsthand the hardships of running a business when there's a complete failure of leadership by our elected officials. Elections have consequences, and now more than ever we need leaders who will fight for us in California.

I’m Margarita Wilkinson and I’m a Republican, businesswoman, and outsider who is tired of politicians who have allowed criminals to flow across borders, crime to run rampant in our streets, and woke ideologies to infiltrate our schools. I would be honored to earn your vote so I can take on the Washington, DC establishment to get our country back-on-track.
